Introduction to Signal Processing 2034

Introduction to Signal Processing

This book is an applications-oriented introduction to digital signal processing. Written primarily for undergraduates, it emphasizes the algorithmic, computational, and programming aspects of DSP. Basic DSP concepts and algorithms are presented and illustrated by a large number of worked examples, computer simulations, and current applications. Key features include sampling and reconstruction, quantization, discrete-time systems, FIR filtering and convolution, DFT/FFT algorithms, interpolation, decimation, and oversampling. The book contains 100 MATLAB and C functions for designing and implementing digital filters and other DSP operations. A solutions manual is available from the publisher.
