MATLAB and Simulink Based Books
Written for undergraduate students, this book presents the fundamental theory of Fourier analysis and wavelets. The book is designed to fill the gap between texts on wavelets that require too much mathematical background and wavelet texts that contain too little mathematical theory. Topics covered include discrete Fourier analysis, Haar wavelet analysis, multiresolution analysis, and Daubechies wavelets. The MATLAB programs used to generate the figures and illustrate concepts are contained in an appendix. The Wavelet Toolbox is also used briefly for compression and filtering.
