Modeling and Simulation using MATLAB-Simulink

Written for undergraduate students, the purpose of this book is to explore the role and possibility of MATLAB, Simulink, and it's toolboxes in electrical and electronics engineering curriculum. The book presents virtual experiments and examples and provides the necessary theory through computer simulation. Topics covered include MATLAB basics, programming in MATLAB, plotting, electrical and network applications, and control system applications.

Introductory chapters on MATLAB and Simulink are included. Chapters featuring the Control System Toolbox, Fuzzy Logic Toolbox, SimPowerSystems, and the Symbolic Math Toolbox and their applications are also provided.

Companion software available

In addition, a set of MATLAB code files and Simulink models is available on a CD bound in the book. Control System Toolbox, Fuzzy Logic Toolbox, SimPowerSystems, and the Symbolic Math Toolbox are required to use some of the files.
