MATLAB and Simulink Based Books
Written for upper-level students and professionals, this text focuses on the application of exploratory data analysis methods using MATLAB. Topics include linear and nonlinear methods of dimensionality reduction, model-based clustering, scatter-plot smoothing, and graphical methods for EDA. The revised second edition includes additional visualization methods such as rangefinder box plots, scatter plots with marginal histograms, biplots, and a new method called Andrews’ images.
An introduction to MATLAB is included in an appendix. MATLAB and Statistics Toolbox are used throughout the book to solve application examples. In addition, a supplemental set of MATLAB code files is available for download.
