MATLAB and Simulink Based Books
Written for upper-level students and professionals, this text focuses on the application of exploratory data analysis methods using MATLAB. Topics include linear and nonlinear methods of dimensionality reduction, model-based clustering, scatter-plot smoothing, and graphical methods for EDA. The revised second edition includes additional visualization methods such as rangefinder box plots, scatter plots with marginal histograms, biplots, and a new method called Andrews’ images.
An introduction to MATLAB is included in an appendix. MATLAB and Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox are used throughout the book to solve application examples. In addition, a supplemental set of MATLAB code files is available for download.
