Written for junior and senior level introductory courses in control systems, Automatic Control Systems presents control system theory, practical application examples, and computer-aided learning and design. Topics include feedback control systems, frequency-domain plots, differential equations, and inverse laplace transform by partial-fraction expansion.
Each chapter contains a section on applying MATLAB to the theory presented. Simulink and the Control System Toolbox are also used to solve examples throughout the book. In addition, a supplemental set of MATLAB code files is available for download.
