The MathWorks Return Policy
What is the Policy for Returning MathWorks Products?
It is possible to return MathWorks products, if the terms below are followed:
- Requests for returns must be made within 30 days of purchase from The MathWorks.
- Products purchased from sources other than The MathWorks (for example: Local Reseller/Distributor, University, or Bookstore) must be returned to the company from which they were purchased and are subject to that company's return policies.
- All returns to The MathWorks must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) or a License Termination Agreement (LTA) to receive proper credit.
Exchanges for Defective Media
MathWorks warrants that the physical media purchased directly from MathWorks shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from delivery, or it will be replaced by MathWorks at no cost. For purchases from sources other than The MathWorks, you must contact that company.
How to Request a RMA or LTA from The MathWorks
Please follow the instructions below to submit request:
- If you purchased product directly from The MathWorks, contact our Customer Service Team.
- Please have the following information available: MathWorks Order Number, license number, product and reason for return.
PACKAGES SENT BACK WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED.
