- How can I be kept apprised of new bugs or bug updates?
- For individual bugs: When viewing an individual detail page for any Bug Report, check the "Include on my watch list" checkbox in the upper right corner of the page. "My Bug Watch List" is your watch list for individual bugs of interest to you. You can also choose to get e-mail notifications when updates are available.
- For sets of bugs: You can also opt to receive proactive email or RSS notifications for new or updated bugs, for a customized release and product set (which you define). From the View Bugs by Product tab, select Get bug updates & customize view. Select the release value and product(s) to which you would like the Bug Reports interface to default, and a frequency at which you'd like to receive email notifications. Save your settings, and you will be notified as new or updated bugs (which match your saved criteria) are published.
- Why aren't all bugs shown? Why isn't the bug I reported showing up?
Bugs reported in this system are those which may be of interest to customers based on general use of our products. Bugs are updated by the development team as more information and releases become available. This includes provisions for any known workarounds or file replacements. Bug Report information is available for bugs either existing in or fixed in Release 14 SP2 or later. Information is not available for all bugs, known or unknown, including bugs in prior releases. If you feel your bug should appear in this table, please contact technical support and ask that your bug be nominated as a Bug Report.
- Does this interface include enhancement requests?
This interface communicates only bugs that The MathWorks is aware of and that are likely to be of interest to customers. Feel free to search our knowledgebase for information on enhancements.
- How are the bugs sorted in the table view?
Bugs are sorted first by status (with fixed bugs appearing first, followed by open bugs), and are then sorted by modified date (with the most recently modified appearing first).
- How can I search for individual bugs?
You can search by any of the fields on the detail page for an individual bug. This means you can use any combination of search terms, including product and release as well as keywords, to perform a search. You can also search on the exact Bug Report ID.
We offer two methods for monitoring the bug reports section of our Web site.
