Is MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) supported on PowerPC Macs?

Problem Description:

When installing MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) on my PowerPC machine, I receive a message that MATLAB cannot be installed on PowerPC. I would like to know if PowerPC is supported.

Solution: As of MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) the PowerPC platform will no longer be supported.
