Why are the license manager scripts not being installed on Japanese Solaris systems?

When I install the license manager on a Japanese Solaris system, the license manager scripts are not included with the MATLAB installation.

Solution:

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

To properly install the license manager scripts, you must set the locale to C before running the installer, or perform an installation and then run the following command from your root MATLAB directory:


./install_matlab 4

This command will perform a license manager only installation that will properly install the license manager scripts.
