Problem Description:

Why does OpenGL not work correctly with an nVidia TNT2 graphics card on Windows 2000?

MATLAB crashes when I use 3-D graphics with this graphics card.

Also I get the following error when trying to start MATLAB:

Driver component sizes mis-match. Retry to keep going. Cancel to exit.

Solution:

This issue has been recognized by Microsoft as a Windows 2000 issue. Please see the following Microsoft posting for more information:

A customer has reported having success downloading and installing the non-WHQL certified drivers for TNT2 Ultra. The customer reported that he was able to use MATLAB successfully with OpenGL with these drivers. These drivers, version 12.41, were released on June 6, 2001.
