Subject:
Why do I receive the "Cannot locate a MATLAB CD" when installing MATLAB through the Panther Patch?
Problem Description:
When I install MATLAB through the MathWorks Panther Updater, I receive the following error:
Cannot locate a MATLAB CD or Web Install Volume
Please insert CD or mount appropriate disk image
and retry.
Solution:The Panther Patch is included in Web Downloads of MATLAB for Macintosh PCs. Start the MATLAB installer using the downloaded installation files, not from the Panther Updater, which should only be used in conjunction with a CD of MATLAB, or with an existing installation of MATLAB. |
