Why am I unable to perform a network Silent Install for products from the second and third CDs?

Problem Description:

I have configued the installer.ini file so that the Silent Installer will install products from the second and third CDs, however, when the installation completes, only products from CD 1 have been installed.

Solution:

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 2 (R14SP2). For previous releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

There is a bug in the installer for MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1) in the way a network Silent Installation for products from the second and third CDs is performed. To work around this issue:

1. Copy the contents of the "archives" folder from CD 2 and CD 3 to the "archives" folder of the CD 1 area.
2. Delete $CD1/matinfo.enc, where $CD1 is the CD 1 area.
