Subject:
What is the difference between my Service Request number and the THREAD ID at the end of emails from support engineers?
Problem Description:
When I receive an email reply from a support engineer it includes a "THREAD ID" number. However, I have noticed that this number changes from one email to the next over the life of a service request.
Solution:Your technical support service request is uniquely identified by the Service Request number. This number will never change. You should reference this number when contacting a support engineer regarding your request. |
