Improve Design Efficiency Using Modeling Standards Checking

Nishaat Vasi, MathWorks

With the growing importance of models for requirements exchange, algorithm design and implementation, the need for consistency and quality of models is becoming more critical. Industry standards for the modeling environment like MAAB Style Guideline (MathWorks Automotive Advisory Board), or standards for compliance with automotive development standards like ISO 26262, serve as a guidance and best practice for development of custom project or organization specific guidelines.

This webinar introduces modeling standards, their adoption, and automatic checking of models for compliance with the standards. Additionally, the existing users of Simulink Verification and Validation modeling standards checks will be able to learn the new capabilities introduced in the newest release of MATLAB and Simulink – R2012a.
