MATLAB and Simulink to C/C++

Tom Erkkinen, MathWorks

Learn how you can use MATLAB and Simulink to generate C/C++ code for acceleration, prototyping, and production. A MathWorks engineer will show you how you can design, code, and verify algorithms that can be tuned, optimized and deployed directly onto real-time, embedded systems for integration and deployment. Signal processing and controls applications on ARM and Intel processors are featured.
Through product demonstrations, you’ll learn about:

  • Generating C code from MATLAB using MATLAB Coder for acceleration and integration
  • Generating C code from Simulink using Simulink Coder for rapid prototyping and real-time testing
  • Generating C code from MATLAB or Simulink using Embedded Coder for production optimization and certification

About the Presenter: Tom Erkkinen is an embedded applications manager at MathWorks, working on automatic code generation and certification products. Prior to MathWorks, Tom worked at aerospace and automotive companies using modeling, simulation, and automatic code generation to develop space robotics and mass production control systems.
