Programming Low-Cost Hardware with Simulink

Brian McKay, MathWorks

In this session, Brian McKay shows how to use Simulink® to easily and quickly program low-cost embedded hardware, such as LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robots, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. Using Raspberry Pi hardware as an example, he shows how you can download and set up Simulink support packages. The session ends with a demonstration on using Simulink blocks to access a webcam and run a color detection algorithm natively on the Raspberry Pi.
