This webinar starts with a review of how Real-Time Workshop® Embedded Coder generates high quality and efficient C code from Simulink® and Stateflow® models for deployment on embedded systems. It then introduces how Embedded IDE Link™ TS can be used for building, optimizing and verifying C code.

Highlights include technical discussion and demos of important new features for code generation and verification introduced with R2007a and R2007b.  New features important for Model-Based Design with production code generation and verification include:

  • Floating- to fixed-point conversion for software design
  • Function prototype control and Legacy Code Tool for software integration
  • Target optimized code for software deployment
  • Processor-in-Loop (PIL) testing for software verification
  • Model standards checking for software certification

This webinar is for people familiar with Model-Based Design and embedded code generation who are interested in new Simulink capabilities for optimizing processes and automating the production of embedded code.

Product Focus

  • Real-Time Workshop® Embedded Coder
  • Embedded IDE Link™ TS
