Droid Racing Challenge
The QUT Droid Racing Challenge is a competition for undergraduate university students. Teams are required to design a ground based vehicle capable of autonomously navigating around a track, while also avoiding obstacles and other other competing vehicles. One of the core application areas that teams need to incorporate into their designs, is robotic vision – ie: developing and implementing guidance and navigation algorithms based on computer vision.
