Applying AI to Enable Autonomy in Robotics Using MATLAB

Start Time End Time
12 Oct 2023, 12:00 PM EDT 12 Oct 2023, 1:00 PM EDT

Join to learn how to empower robots with AI for perception and motion control techniques, including object identification, pose estimation, and motion planning. AI-enabled robots are growing in various industries, such as manufacturing facilities, power plants, and warehouses. Warehouse bin-picking is a prime example, where deep learning and reinforcement learning enable robots to handle various objects with minimal human assistance, reducing workplace injuries due to repetitive motions.

With MATLAB and Simulink, you can design, test, and deploy your AI applications in advanced robotics systems. Learn how this powerful platform allows for successful AI adoption in robotics and autonomous systems, reducing development time and time to market.

You will gain insights on:

  • Calibrating a robot camera to perceive environment
  • Reducing manual effort with automatic data labeling
  • Detecting and classifying objects using deep learning for robotics applications
  • Motion planning using deep learning
  • Controlling robot motion using reinforcement learning
  • Deploying deep learning algorithms as CUDA-optimized ROS nodes
  • Integrating ChatGPT with MATLAB for object detection

Who Should Attend

  • Robotics Software Engineers
  • System Integrators for Cobot Deployment
  • Cobot Algorithms Developers
  • Robotics Engineering Managers
  • Automation Program Manager
