Modeling Physical Systems with Simscape

Overview

This webinar will walk you through the fundamentals of Simscape, a Simulink add-on product that enables you to model and simulate multi-domain physical systems within the Simulink environment. You’ll learn core Simscape concepts with examples, and you will explore the mechanical, electrical, and thermal modeling of a multibody walking robot and the motors that are used to actuate it.

Highlights

  • Building and simulating a motor drive actuator
  • Creating a system with multibody dynamics
  • Simulating and visualizing a multi-domain robotics system in 3D
  • Resources for getting started with Simscape

About the Presenter

Nishan Nekoo is a Product Marketing Engineer in the Marketing Development Group at MathWorks. He holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he used Simulink extensively while participating in the EcoCAR Mobility Challenge competition.
