Overview

Microsoft Excel is important in the financial world. It is intuitive and easy to use; however, it is also easy to end up with important calculations in badly designed spreadsheets, perhaps with error prone manual workflows. We would like to show you how MATLAB can improve your spreadsheets to ensure they are transparent, robust, and reproducible.

MATLAB helps you to build algorithms quickly and reliably whilst working in an intuitive and easy to use language. These tools can be used in Excel. This webinar is intended to show you how to get the best from both worlds. Through live demonstrations, you will learn how to easily transfer data back and forth, how to use MATLAB to automate error-prone manual steps, and how to call MATLAB algorithms directly from Excel.

Highlights

  • Access the power of MATLAB from within Excel
  • Exchange data between MATLAB and Excel
  • Manipulate Excel spreadsheets from MATLAB
