Job Summary:

Do you have an interest in developing tools to facilitate the design, analysis, simulation, and deployment of control systems? Are you interested in developing control tools to support applications ranging from analysis, design and visualization?

If so we are looking for a versatile, enthusiastic engineer capable of multi-tasking to join the Control & Identification team to help develop software tools.  These tools will focus on building software for the analysis and design of control systems. You will need skills that cross traditional domain boundaries in areas such as controller design, optimization, object-oriented programming, and graphical user interface design.


  • Develop and implement new software tools to help our customers design and analyze control systems.
  • Work on developing algorithms and graphical interfaces for analysis and design of control systems.     
  • Contribute to all aspects of the product development process from writing functional specifications to designing software architecture and implementing software features as well as working with quality engineering, documentation, and usability teams to develop state-of-the-art software tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.

Additional Qualifications

PhD or M.Sc. with at least 3 years of industry experience in an engineering field with a focus on control systems.

In addition, a solid combination of some of the following skills is required:

  • Knowledge of design and analysis of control systems.
  • Knowledge of optimization and numeric algorithms.
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
