Software Developer in Machine Learning for Code Verification

MathWorks is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the development of Polyspace tools. Polyspace tools find bugs and prove their absence in C/C++ applications, using state-of-the-art technologies.  It is used to verify embedded software and especially safety-critical systems in planes, trains, and automobiles.

Responsibilities

  • You will help improve Polyspace tools by applying state-of-the-art techniques from both code verification and machine learning field.
  • You will participate in the specification, design, and implementation of new features that increase the benefits of Polyspace for its users.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in using machine learning techniques
  • Good knowledge of formal methods, static analysis or compilation techniques (abstract interpretation, SMT Solving, model checking, Hoare Logic...)
  • Excellent Oral and Written English
  • Adaptability to different programming languages and environments
  • MATLAB knowledge would be a plus
