We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Consulting Services Group.
As a member of our worldwide management team, you will lead a group of product application experts, contribute to business development, and help ensure our customers’ success. This is a great opportunity for an engineering professional with strong leadership skills and production software development experience.
The location for this position is Torrance, California.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of model-based design and software certification experts
- Collaborate with account teams on prospecting and business development
- Engage with customers to understand their goals and challenges
- Help solve complex design, implementation, and testing problems
- Provide qualification, proposal, and contracting support
- Provide project management and delivery coaching to staff
- Monitor, analyze, and report group performance and impact
- Elevate services awareness inside and outside the company
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required. 2 years management experience is required.
- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.

Additional Qualifications
- MS in engineering
- Experience using automatic code generation and/or V&V tools
- Recent experience with Simulink, or other system modeling tools
- Embedded software development experience
- Familiarity with certification standards (e.g. DO-178, DO-254, ISO 26262, or IEC 62304).
- Ability to travel occasionally
Salary range of $151,100 to $259,900 (inclusive of target commission for staff in eligible roles). In addition, MathWorks offers benefits and a quarterly bonus program. Individual compensation is determined by a candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
