Come join our energetic team in enhancing testability, developing automated test infrastructure and conducting hands-on testing of our web-based Code Generation UI Workflow tools. Examples of these tools include code configurations, code generation report, software deployment platform UI and code metric report.  As a member of this team, you will participate in qualifying product functionality from early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final release. The position requires working closely with the Simulink and Embedded Coder Development, Quality Engineering, and Documentation teams and occasionally with customer facing groups.


You will be responsible for developing test suites and conducting hands-on testing of web-based Code Generation UI Workflow tools. Specifically, you will:

  • Write automated test suites using MATLAB and JavaScript to test the functionality of Code Generation UI Workflow tools.
  • Creating test plans and test procedures.
  • Implementing test-infrastructure and adding automated tests using these.
  • Implementing non-functional testing like performance and memory testing.
  • Reporting bugs and qualifying bug fixes.
  • Creating test tools and enhancing existing ones.
  • Participating in design reviews and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Web development experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Programming experience in MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design.
  • Knowledge of Simulink and related MathWorks products is a plus.
  • Experience with GUI testing.
  • Experience with parallel computing, cluster and asynchronous web testing is nice to have.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, and methods of Software Development and Quality Engineering.
