Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated testing software; developing testing software to support the MATLAB Compiler and Builder features; developing and implementing test plans, creating automated test suites and conducting hands-on testing; participating in software development projects from the early design stages and playing a critical role in driving to final product release; participating in component design reviews; writing automated unit tests in Java and C/C++; writing automated function and system tests in MATLAB; reporting bugs and verifying fixes; developing and maintaining test tools; and evaluating product performance.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience.
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in testing or test automation for software applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming and analysis in Java, C#, Python, or MATLAB.
- Demonstrated expertise developing and testing of client-server applications using .NET, C#, or Java.
- Demonstrated expertise writing manual or automated tests for applications developed in Java, C, .NET or Python.
- Demonstrated expertise designing, developing or testing applications across multiple platforms -- Linux, Windows, UNIX, or Mac.
