Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of MathWorks’ sophisticated Technical Computing and Model-Based Design software products in the Analog / Mixed-Signal (AMS) market segment; designing and developing sophisticated software product models and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks' MATLAB and Simulink family of products capabilities in the design, simulation, prototyping, and verification for analog and mixed-signal design; developing technical engineering demonstrations of MathWorks' software to support the company's marketing activities in the AMS market segment and primarily in Communications, Electronics and Semiconductor industries; gathering AMS customer software requirements to inform development and customization of the Technical Computing and Model-Based Design product experience; developing and implementing marketing strategy including target customers and researchers, messaging and content, and product gaps; understanding technology roadmaps for customers and the opportunity for MathWorks tool adoption through research and customer visits; and leading engagement with key companies, researchers and influencers. Requires frequent travel and on short notice.




Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience supporting technical engineering workflows in the Radio Frequency (RF) and Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) industry.


Special Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise using MATLAB or Simulink for modeling and simulation within the Radio Frequency (RF) and Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise gathering customer requirements and defining customers workflows within the RF and AMS industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing AMS systems on simulation and modeling platforms -- MATLAB, Cadence Spectre, or Simulink; designing AMS systems with feedback architecture using signal processing and control theory; and designing RF filters using design optimization algorithms.
  • Demonstrated expertise using MATLAB, Cadence, or Microsoft Excel to post-process simulation data for the analysis of RF and AMS circuits.
