Senior Course Developer
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for developing interactive learning resources on modern online learning platforms for MATLAB and Simulink; uncovering and documenting requirements for systems; recommending appropriate solutions for the needs of a given course; training instructors on the use of the tools and helping to encourage best practices for implementation; assisting with the development of robust automated assessments using MATLAB; providing support on development, integration, and testing within online learning platforms; managing communication of major system updates, product releases, and testing plans for universities; developing demonstrations and other tools for instructors on effective assessment using the MATLAB language; and investigating technical issues reported by instructors and students.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience building mathematical models in MATLAB.
Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no experience.
- Demonstrated expertise writing MATLAB algorithms to simulate models, process data and create visualizations.
- Demonstrated expertise planning learning objectives, designing mathematical practice problems and delivering lessons to undergraduate students or engineers on complex mathematical concepts.
- Demonstrated expertise developing MATLAB online learning content and online assessments.
- Demonstrated expertise converting raw mathematical and technical content into written format for publication.
