Join the MATLAB Product Management team and be responsible for driving the future direction of MATLAB, the programming platform used by over 4 million engineers and scientists. We partner with the MATLAB Development team to understand key requirements and define product features for MATLAB. We outline the short- and long-term roadmaps for the MATLAB product as a whole and for each of its key feature areas.
Responsibilities
You will be the product management lead for Graphics (Data Visualization) and App Building workflows in MATLAB.
Strategic Planning
- Translate goals into actionable marketing strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Lead annual and long-term planning, resource prioritization, and KPI development.
- Guide product roadmaps to align with marketing direction and market trends.
- Collaborate with leaders to build comprehensive plans for data visualization and app markets.
- Identify risks and recommend adjustments to meet strategic goals.
Consumer & Market Insights
- Use analytics to inform strategy and forecast scenarios.
- Define KPIs and measure strategic impact.
- Track market shifts, competitor actions, and emerging technologies.

- Strategic vision, analytical strength, cross-functional leadership, adaptability, and customer insight.
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise with MATLAB
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in long-term planning and competitive analysis.
- Proven expertise in market analysis, data analytics, and business modeling.
- Ability to solve unique and complex problems that have a direct impact on the business
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Compelling storyteller to motivate business critical, market, and customer opportunities
