Lead technical engagements with key customers to evaluate and integrate model-based design, automatic code generation, verification and validation tools into a production software development process.  Collaborate with account teams to articulate the value of model-based design, and implementation plans.  Develop software reference architectures and extensions to MATLAB/Simulink in C++/MATLAB/Java to address unique customer requirements.  Document customer requirements and work with software development team to ensure requirements are implemented accurately. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], Mathematical Sciences, or related field and no experience.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering [any], Mathematical Sciences, or related field and [3] three years of experience in an Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires demonstrable experience with the following:

  • MATLAB, Simulink, similar graphical modeling, or automatic code generation tools;
  • Object oriented software design and development using programming languages such as C++, MATLAB, or Java; 
  • Demonstrated expertise developing presentations and technical reports in engineering topics for scientific review and presenting work at conferences and technical workshops; and
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting customers with model design workflows using MATLAB and Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink Coder, and Embedded Coder.

Experience may be gained during graduate program.  Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
