Graduate and undergraduate students gain valuable work experience and apply what they’ve learned in school. As a MathWorks intern, you’re part of the team from Day One. You’ll work on your own projects in an atmosphere that’s collegial and fun. You'll have a mentor to get you started, milestones and deliverables, and regular feedback on your performance.

We offer internships lasting between three and six months, both over the summer and throughout the year.

What Our Interns Are Saying

"I never felt like an intern at MathWorks – I was assigned the same responsibilities as a professional engineer. People here do not look into where/which/what position you are in, rather they listen to what you have to say. My input at meetings was greatly appreciated, which made it a fulfilling experience."

Balaji, Technical Support

"MathWorks combines meaningful work with awesome people – any intern has a great environment to grow tremendously. I loved that I was given a real seat at the table – the work that I was doing had importance to the rest of the team. I didn’t expect to be pushed to do so much, but I was pleasantly surprised. This combination of trust and pressure helped me to push myself beyond my comfort zone."
