R2025b delivers quality and stability improvements, building on the new features introduced in R2025a.
Reduced Order Modeling: Create reduced order models using the Reduced Order Modeler for MATLAB Support Package (January 2026; Version 25.2.4)
You can now create reduced order models (ROMs) of subsystems modeled in Simulink®, including full-order, high-fidelity third-party simulation models using the new Reduced Order Modeler for MATLAB® Support Package. You can also create ROMs using existing time-domain data.
To install the support package, locate the add-on in Add-On Explorer using the instructions in Get and Manage Add-Ons. For information on the Reduced Order Modeler app, see Reduced Order Modeler.
