Run Model Checks

Check that model simulates accurately and efficiently

The Model Advisor checks a model or subsystem for conditions and configuration settings that can result in inaccurate or inefficient simulation. You can specify the conditions and settings to check. See Select Checks and Run Model Advisor.

Select Checks and Run Model Advisor

This example shows how to select checks and run the Model Advisor.

Save Model Analysis Time

If you consistently run the same set of checks on your model, to save analysis time, use the Model Advisor dashboard.

Run Model Checks in Background

If you have a Parallel Computing Toolbox™ license, you can run the Model Advisor in the background.

Run Model Checks Programmatically

If you have a Simulink® Verification and Validation™ license, you can create scripts and functions that run the Model Advisor programmatically.

Address Model Check Results

After a Model Advisor analysis, you can highlight the results and fix check warnings.

Save and View Model Advisor Reports

The Model Advisor generates an HTML report of the check results.

Consulting the Model Advisor

Use the Model Advisor to check a model or subsystem for conditions and configuration settings that you select, including conditions that cause inaccurate or inefficient simulation.

Selecting Model Checks

Use the check documentation and Model Advisor window to determine which checks to run.

Model Advisor Limitations

When you use the Model Advisor to check your model, some limitations apply.
