Deploy Custom Communication Systems on FPGAs and SoCs
These examples show how to deploy custom communication systems reference applications on FPGAs and SoCs.
The examples use the Simulink® models from the reference applications to generate HDL code for the FPGA logic. They model and implement the software and hardware interfaces required to run the algorithm on an SoC or NI™ USRP™ device by using the SoC Blockset™ Support Package for AMD® FPGA and SoC Devices or the Wireless Testbench™ Support Package for NI USRP Devices respectively.
Introduction To Custom OFDM Using AMD RFSoC (SoC Blockset): Introduces the design and verification workflow used in the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmitter and receiver reference applications by deploying a custom OFDM algorithm.
Introduction to Custom OFDM on NI USRP Radio (Wireless Testbench): Deploys and verifies the custom OFDM transmitter and receiver design from the Introduction to Custom OFDM example on the FPGA of an NI USRP radio.
OFDM Transmit and Receive Using Analog Devices AD9361/AD9364 (SoC Blockset): Deploy an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmit and receive algorithm. This example uses the IP core workflow with a fixed reference design.
OFDM Transmit and Receive Using AMD RFSoC Device (SoC Blockset): Deploy an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmit and receive algorithm. This example uses the SoC Builder workflow which generates a custom reference design from your Simulink® model.
