Why does the Installer give error "InstallForMacOSX can't open library: /usr/lib/l​ibgcc_s.1.​dylib" when installing on MacOSX?

When launching the installer I receive the error message below:

 

dyld: InstallForMacOSX can't open library: /usr/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)
