How to label each datapoint in a box plot ?

I have a grouped box plot with 27 boxplots..
I want to label only the outliers in each boxplot...
Can anyone help ?

scatter() or plot() to draw the points in. text() to put in the labels.
boxplot() creates a series of line objects and some text objects. It is possible, with some experimentation, to figure out which of the objects correspond to outliers, and then use text() to add labels to them. I recall that I figured out the sequence of elements at one point in the past. Unfortunately I do not have access to the stats toolbox now and so cannot recreate the analysis.
