Multiple User/Non-Simultaneous Remote Access to Matlab

I am not the end user for MatLab, but have been tasked with getting our engineers access to it.

The end result is that we have MatLab on our server, so that our engineers can use it.

They will be remotely accessing the server, and will NOT be wanting to use MatLab simultaneously.

We have both a Windows and a Linux server.

Our current "activation type" is "Designated Computer"

Could you please point me to an appropriate set of instructions or provide a detailed step-by-step process to reach this goal?
