SimHydraulics water supply system - possible with version R2013a?

hello,
I'm an automation technician and in my master's thesis I would like to develop a intelligent control software for drinking water supply systems to reduce energy costs.
To test the control I need to model such a plant. Therefore I would like to ask, if it is possible to use SimHydraulics in Matlab R2013a to model it.
I know, that there are lots of examples (also a small water supply systems), but I work with version R2013a and there the help says following:
"SimHydraulics software does not have the capability to model the following types of systems:
Water supply and sewer systems
Distributed parameters systems
Full-scale modeling and simulation of fluid transportation systems such as oil pipelines, city water supply systems, sewage systems are outside the product scope, but you can successfully handle the elements and sections of such systems, as long as the analysis types are equivalent to those performed in power and control hydraulics."
Now my question is, if I can create my model with this version or do I have to switch to the newest version of 2014?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards Mario
