How do I integrate LTE System Level Simulator to R2013b?

I have downloaded a .zip folder for a LTE System Level Simulator. It is simply a folder as such(see attached file). How do I integrate this into the software?
Also is it possible to design and simulate LTE systems without using the LTE System Toolbox? Is the Communication toolbox sufficient for the design of the physical layer?
