I am trying to reduce the index of my DAE problem using the function reduceDAEIndex in Matlab 2014b . I am constantly getting the following error.
Error using mupadengine/feval (line 157)
MuPAD error: Error: The variables must be specified by univariate function calls. [daetools::checkInput]
Error in sym/reduceDAEIndex (line 98)
A = feval(symengine, 'symobj::reduceDAEIndex', eqs, vars);
Error in symbolic (line 103)
[DAEs,DAEvars]=reduceDAEIndex(eqs,vars)
Can anyone tell me what is the problem?

Could you post some sample inputs so we can test?
Also, Szar, which MATLAB release are you using?
