compare to black / greyscle images and calculate how closely tthey match

Howdy all,

I'm a bit of a newby and need to compare thousands of greysacle darkfield images against a good image to identify potential differences and give a score to identify how close they match , any ideas how to go about achieving this ?

You can use Feature detection algorithms readily available on MATLAB.
