When I goto Install R2013a Student version, I click on the InstallForMacOSX icon, and get a "to view this web content you need to installthe JAva Runtime Environment".I click more info, pulls up the java site and I download it. Still doesnt work.

AFter making sure Its downloaded, I go back to hit the InstallForMacOSX, and get the same response about Java Runtime Environment. Not sure what I should do from here.
