- mdce_def was renamed to mjs_def
- mdce binary was renamed to mjs
Can I run MATLAB on an MATLAB Parallel Server headnode?

The headnode system is performing the scheduling for my MATLAB Parallel Server cluster, and I would also like to be able to allow users to run MATLAB on the headnode system. Is this OK?

Yes, MATLAB can be run on the headnode.
However, please note that if you decide to run MATLAB, you will be using up the available resources on the server, which could cause performance issues for other users who will be submitting to the headnode.
