I am using
smexportonshape()
and then
smimport()
to bring my CAD models into Simscape Multibody. I love how quick and easy it has been! My moldels are imported with all of the geometry, materials, apperances, and mates.
It takes me a little while to build a complete the Simscape Multibody model, adding inputs, contact forces, etc. Then I run the model, get some results, and realize I need to make adjustments to my CAD model. So I go back to Onshape, make the adjustments.
What is the best practice for then brining the updated CAD model into my Simscape Multibody model? I don't want to lose all of the changes I have madel to the model. Thanks!

Hi Beatriz. Yes we did! The folks at MathWorks helped us out. It's not super automated, but it works. I wrote up a lesson that walks you through the process:
The Updating and Reimporting Geometry section is about 3/4 of the way down.
