why skeleton data from kinect are strange

Hello there!, i'm working with kinect 1, acquiring nodes positions of a skeleton. i made a 3d plot of the first 12 nodes and the skeleton looks distorted, why is this happening? Thanks!
pdt: i acquired de data from metadata.JointWorldCoordinates.
