"Extract Error" while installing. The error occurs while installing vision_demos_common in R2014b and while installing mcr_install_glnxa64 in R2015a

The described error comes up while installing Matlab. I am running Debian Jessie 64 Bit and started the installation with
sudo ./install -downloadFolder /home/*name*/Downloads/MathWorks
as i do not have enough space in /tmp. Also I want to install Matlab to /home/*name*/MATLAB/R2014b.
The full error message is:
The following error was detected while installing vision_demos_common:
archive is not a ZIP archive
