Due to the laws of the USA, it is not permitted for us to provide RSA code, and it is not permitted for us to discuss the implementation of RSA. You will need to either write the code yourself or find code from a computer system that is not within USA or Canada (or UK, or a few other countries.)

I am not going to risk going to jail for your assignment.

The software you are discussing is not Open Source Software, so it is not entitled to any of the exemptions for that. It is also not commercial software, so it is not entitled to any of exemptions having to do with commercial software. The software you are talking about is intended for the user (that is, you) to modify, and there is no limit on the number of bits of the key. The software you are discussing therefore appears to fall into the category of "custom encryption software" for which an export permit is required. https://www.bis.doc.gov/index.php/forms-documents/doc_view/335-supplement-no-1-to-part-774-category-5-part-ii-information-security

You are free to develop the source yourself from public descriptions of the technique. We are not free to give you access to existing source or to discuss with you how to implement the techniques. There are some people in the USA who are permitted by the regulations to discuss such matters, but Mathworks is not an "established security researcher" and is not authorized.

We do not have to like the law, but we have to obey it.
