Where are the add ons that were installed with matlab? I don't see them on the apps tab.

Hello I purchased Econometrics, traders, optimization. etc 8 add ons, but i don't see there icon on the app tab. I can't find the add on files when i searech the matlab foler in c:\. Please help!

Those are not "apps" or "add on", those are Toolboxes. Some of them might have nice graphical interfaces for some tasks, but most will not.
You can use the command
ver
to find out what you have installed.

I am unclear as to where R2016a came from if you only ever had the newest release, just purchased??

Hey Elmar,
I have the same problem. Matlab does not find the apps corresponding to the packages/toolboxes I have installed. How exactly did you manage to solve this?

I can and do. the interface design is lacking, and it crashes several times a day, in addition to the ridiculous add-on manager.

Welcome to the Matlab forum, where voluntary Matlab users help others to solve programming problems.
If you do not like Matlab, use one of the other tools.
