What happens regarding my student copy of Matlab if my computer dies?

I am having increasing problems with my computer. It is in safe mode and the manufacturer acknowledges a known problem which will result in failure at some point. Is my student license transferable to a new machine in this event? My new email for this communication is [e-mail] My university merged with another university. I got a new email and I don't know how to update mathworks for the change. thank you

Yes, your Student license is transferable, a limited number of times per year.
